MEET YOUR MENTOR
Melissa Lunardon
I run a successful residential and hospitality design studio, with 3 team members. It turns over six figures + each year and has allowed me to work remotely in New York City for 6 months!
And most recently, I have had a baby and still pay myself a healthy full-time wage.
I was working as an in-house interior designer for over 10 years and then crowding my evenings and weekends working with my own private clients. I reached the point where I couldn’t keep up and was terrified of taking that leap into full-time self-employment just yet. So I decided to go slow and was recommended to work with a business coach. My coach inspired me to work hard on setting up the back end of my business.
I knew my craft in creating beautiful interiors for clients, but I didn't have a clue how to find new clients, charge, or set up a website! Finding someone “on my team” to guide and support me in starting my business was one of the smartest investments I have made for my company.
It wasn't long afterward that I had built up enough clients on my waitlist and felt brave enough to take the leap and quit my full-time job! That was 7 years ago, and I now have the freedom and flexibility to run my own show. I have systems and processes in place that give me the confidence to run projects on my own from concept through to completion, a long list of clients that mostly come by word of mouth and are happy to pay for my premium services.
Stopping at creating beautiful interiors was never my plan. I wanted more and made sure that I’ve got more. The “more” has come in the form of TV presenting, guest speaking at events, workshops, blog and magazine contributions, and travelling to international design fairs.

The program runs for 6 months, with live group calls on every fortnight for 60 minutes.

The program is suited to those designers who have started or want to start their own business. I do offer private 1:1 mentoring for those who are still studying or recent graduates who are trying to navigate the industry.

Yes absolutely! All of our group sessions are via Zoom. Even if you can’t make it live, the calls will be recorded for you to watch at a later date. You can simply send in your questions or what you want to focus on that fortnight and I can help you during the session.
You will also have access to our group Voxer chat and can get access to me for guidance and accountability
